So first you gotta acknowledge everything.
Which is…
A fuckin lot!
Everything!?
That’s a lot to talk about.
So first, like yea…
I would have to agree.
I too, feel the pull of the white noise.
That subtle hum that seems to be incessantly building.
I agree.
I too, feel the fear.
Woman rights. “Minorities” rights. Freedoms. Abortions. Wars. Genocide. “Immigrants”. Health care. Human rights. And the things. And the things. And the things.
The sicknesses of this life on earth. The communicable dis-ease we feel.
Some voice it so easily.
Some… never at all.
And some of us…
We just barely skim over the surface of it.
A new generation.
Not Rolling Stones.
Skipping stones.
Barely feeling the depth of anything.
Hmm.. there’s a poem in there… somewhere.
But…
That’s not true. Be honest. You feel it.
You feel that hum. You feel it growing. It feels weird because it’s coming from somewhere deep.
And deep is far.
Deep is unknown.
Deep is where the fear lurks.
It’s scary a little bit, ain’t it?
It’s like the coins been flipped and the whole world is watching.
It hums as it falls through the sky.
Everyone’s watching.
Hmmmm…
That’s the fear, ain’t it? The odds you’ll have to go deep.
Silently hoping that if we just keep skipping over the surface we can safely make it to the other side…
Else be swallowed by the deep…
But.. worry not!
It’s ok. It’s going to be ok. There’s all types of good things happening in the world.
And I know it’s cheesy as fuck, but if you can’t see it? If you can’t find it?
You gotta be it.
I can’t say much after that.
I mean, things are just gonna play out how they play out.
What more can you do?
It’s a good time to be good to our selves.
It’s a good time to be good to people. It’s a good time to be good to the earth.
Also,
Remember…
It might not go that way. It might go the other way.
It might be a bad time.
If it is your first bad time, do not worry. It will be the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do. And this is life.
Sometimes it is good. Sometimes it is bad.
But…
Also….
Time is nothing. Now is everything.
Isn’t it beautiful?
…And the band… played on.
